I really liked this article as it sums up so many aspects on how to manage the mental side of a race.
Please don’t forget; yes a marathon is officially is 42.2km or 26miles. However, take yourself back to when you first started to run….. even that 3km’s around the block felt like a marathon!
So just because this article is focused on training the mind for a marathon, your own personal goal is what is important. That could be running 3km, 5km, 10km’s etc this could be YOUR marathon! but apply the same techniques and that next distance goal or race may just become that little bit more achievable.
