Homemade Protein Ice Lollies

With a heat wave predicted, time to get prepared and have some yummy Protein Ice Lollies for a nice cooling snack attack 🙂  These are dairy and added sugar free too!


Place all of the following ingredients in a food processor and blend on high for several minutes until the mixture increases in volume and takes on a nice smooth glossy appearance.  Then spoon into Ice Lolly Moulds and freeze.  Could not more simple than that!

This mixture made just over 6 moulds.

Approx. values per serve: 10.5gm Protein / 6.7gm Carb of which 4.4gm fructose sugar from berries / 2.9gm fat / 80 cals per serve

300gm pack of Organic Soft / Silken Tofu – drain
150gm  frozen blueberries (you could use what you fancy)
2-3 tablespoon of raw cacao or premium dark cocoa powder
2 – 3 scoops (1/3 cup) Pure Pea Protein Vanillia  (I use NuZest – use my Promotional Code: BOLT16AU to receive 10% discount and free delivery on purchases over $200:

2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
1/4-1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (this gives it just a nice little bite!) optional

Note: if you like a sweeter taste, add half a ripe banana or teaspoon of honey or pure maple syrup.
